The Cherokee res publica is at risk of a cut from national funding. These trade loses would include the Freedmen who Diane Watson is fight to restore their citizenship. The suspension of the Cherokee Nation would also cause businesses to close down. This crisis is causing Indians to draw angry with the Congresswomen.

The Cherokee Nation experienced similar discrimination in the 1800’s. The Cherokee Nation is taking a stick up against Congresswoman Watson and they desire to run her come out of office because of her actions against this issue.
