Conformity is an idea that has plagued mankind for ages; it is the question that we as world beings take aim ourselves everyday: should we do what is expected of us, or should be go over our heart, and do what we be restve is even off? In Arthur Millers The Crucible, the idea of congruity versus protest is an underlying groundwork that continues throughout the whole play.
